TARGET YUGOSLAVIA:  NATO's WAR OF AGGRESSION

Radio Havana Cuba presents its coverage of the ongoing U.S.-
led NATO aggression against Yugoslavia.

The United Nations maximum authority for humanitarian aid
asserted today that the NATO oil embargo against Yugoslavia
will primarily affect the civilian population and not the
Serb's military apparatus.

The UN's Assistant Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs,
Sergio Vieira de Mello, stated that the embargo would
seriously affect the country's agricultural production and
would reduce even further the ability of humanitarian workers
to aid Yugoslavia's civilian population.  Russia has warned
that it will not respect the embargo.

In other news, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees stated on
Tuesday that the seven refugee camps in Macedonia are on the
verge of collapse -- particularly following today's arrival of
another five thousand residents of Kosovo.  The UN agency said
that tents with a capacity for six people are housing as many
as 18 -- and that each refugee now has only ten square meters
of space, when 12 meters is considered the minimum space
required.
