HOW TO PICK UP THE SHOWS ON SHORTWAVE
We broadcast on the 49, 31, 25 and 22 meter bands. You will need a radio capable of tuning to shortwave signals. The receiver may use its own internal telescopic whip antenna, but it is a lot better if you can connect the radio to an EXTERNAL ANTENNA.In the Dxers Unlimited section of NY Transfer's Radio Havana Cuba website, you will find several easy-to-build antennas for improving shortwave reception. It is very easy to download both the text and the graphics files. Time invested in building and installing your own external shortwave receiving antenna is really worth every single second, and reception will improve significantly.
