Actual Solar Flux, Ap and K indexes may vary considerably, especially if NEW active solar sunspot regions develop.
You may want to compare this data with the daily "Solar Numbers" that are broadcast at the 18th minute of every hour on WWV, 5, 10, 15, 20 mHz, and at the 45th minute of every hour on WWVH (Hawaii) 5, 10, 15 mHz.
The period between jan 6 and jan 15 may prove to be very good for nighttime winter propagation on frequencies between 1.5 and 6 megahertz, due to lower ionospheric absorption.
